These are the apple turnovers, from the course of Emma Schacke. This is my LOVE, i’ve made them yesterday and left them to chill in the fridge. Today my breakfast was gorgeous. The dough is crumbly and so well-textured, it feels rustic and divine. My new favs.

How delightful! They look like they turned out with such an amazing texture, and that rustic touch makes them even more special. I love the way you describe the dough it really makes me want to try them with a freshly brewed coffee. They definitely seem like the perfect breakfast. ✨

Oh wow — this photo is pure texture heaven 😍
You can feel the crunch just by looking at it. The caramelized sugar on top gives it that rustic, golden finish that screams “handmade with love.” And the shape is so neat and well-sealed…
Emma Schacke would be proud!
What do you love most about working with this dough — the process, the flavor, or the texture once baked?
And hey, if you haven’t yet… share this beauty in your Instagram stories and tag @Scoolinary_en and Emma. This kind of pastry joy needs to be seen 🥐✨1 -
These hand pies are little parcels of joy! That golden, crimped edge and sugared top speak of care and craft, and I can just imagine the aroma when they came out of the oven. There’s something so comforting and nostalgic about hand pies—they carry a sense of home, of stories folded into dough. Whether they’re filled with fruit, spice, or something unexpected, they look like they were made to be shared and savored. Beautiful work!
