I think cookies look better before being baked, when all the edges are perfectly crisp and neat. These are some jam cookies I made, filled with strawberry jam, passionfruit and pineapple jam and fig jam. The stamps (cookie presses) are from Williams-Sonoma.

The texture and details of your cookies are spectacular, and the precision with which you used the stamps is worthy of a pastry shop display.
The natural light in the photo beautifully highlights the golden tones and the jam’s subtle hues. You might want to try a lower angle or a neutral background to make the cookie stand out even more.
What matters most to you when choosing a flavor combination for a filling? Do you go more for contrast, harmony… or do you enjoy experimenting without rules? Keep refining your craft—it’s clear you have a special talent for pastry.
You’ve definitely got what it takes to go pro! 👏🏼

@Sussan Estela Olaya Thank you! To my surprise, I enjoyed the strawberry jam filling the most, so while I would like to experiment with unique flavours, it looks like the classics are popular for a reason!

@undefined So lovely to hear from you, Mandy! 🥰
It’s true—classic flavors sometimes have that something special that connects with everyone, like a gentle hug for the palate. It’s great that you’re open to exploring, but also appreciate the power of something simple and well-made.
If strawberry was your favorite, maybe you could play around with other red fruits, or add a hint of acidity or mild spices to stay in the same flavor family, but with your own twist.
We love seeing how much you enjoy the process—keep creating and surprising us!
