An eError in a recipe.
Hi 👋
The recipe for the egg YOLK cream for the Massini cake in the course “classic cakes” by Hans Ovando and Elena Adell;
Both recipes in English and Spanish call for eggs, not egg yolks. Following this you can imagine how my mixture went…
Also the English dubbing and translation on the video itself says WHOLE eggs, again, that can’t be right
I believe it should be revised to egg YOLKS everywhere?
Thanks

Even in Spanish in the video she says: “uevo,uevo entero”.
Whole eggs….

Thanks for raising this 😊
We double-checked this with our content team, and they’ve confirmed that what the instructor explains is correct. The recipe calls for whole eggs, not egg yolks. That’s why the English translation states whole eggs.
This matches all sources: both the Scoolinary recipe booklet and the original recipe clearly specify whole eggs, and the English dubbing in the video reflects this accurately as well.
