• Hi all, today I tried making the Noissette Butter salty Cookies from Anna Gordon’s course “American Cookies”and even though I followed the instructions, from the course and followed the written instructions, I thought that 50g of salt was to mutch, so, I only added 25 grams to the outer cover. They are WAY to salty and imposible to eat. Does anyone have any advice from their experience?

I would say there was a typo in the PDF. I think it should only be 5g of salt. The video shows that she uses a small bowl when adding salt to the flour.

        • @lanamihajlovic Thank you Lana, yeah I thought 50g was rather a lot, but, as i watched the video before hand, I did not noticethe diference of measures while following the writen recipe after.

Chef Sam: thanks for your feedback! After reviewing the recipe, our content team decided to reduce the salt to 10g. The final result may still vary depending on (1) individual taste, (2) how evenly the salt is mixed with the sugar, and (3) how much is sprinkled on the cookie. We can’t wait to see photos of your cookies in the community!
