Skeleton Charcuterie Board I made for my family for Halloween 2024,
The head is cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon and scallions wrapped in prosciutto. The heart is a fire-roasted red bell pepper. The ribs are actual ribs! Baby back ribs from the grill. The intestines are a spicy Italian rope sausage made for me by a local butcher. The other “flesh” is pulled pork.
It was a lot of fun to make and great Halloween snacking! The kids and grandkids loved it so much I think I will do it again this Halloween.

Oh wow, Chef — I remember this pic from last year! 🎃👻 It was one of your first posts here, right? You really kicked things off with a bang!
The creativity is just off the charts: the prosciutto-wrapped head with olive eyes, the ribs, the spiral “intestines”… It’s playful, a little creepy (in the best way!), and totally mouthwatering. The balance between spooky and delicious is just perfect 💀🔥
Are you already planning this year’s version? We’d love to see what eerie edible magic you come up with next!
Have you seen the Pipilitas recipe from Paloma’s last Course: Cocina de Muertos?https://www.scoolinary.com/recipes/s/pipilitas
Maybe you can add some to your Board this year. I’m possitive that with all that creativity you can make up something with it.
