 Your bagels look fantastic for a first attempt — you’ve clearly followed the fundamentals well. The bake has a nice color and the toppings are evenly distributed. You’re right, working on the shaping will help get that classic round form with a centered hole. For the sandwich, I love the bold red backdrop, but be mindful of the filling’s alignment — a bit of slipping affects both the bite and the visual.
 Have you tried the water bath with a touch of malt or baking soda to enhance the crust and chew? 💡
 What would you say is your top challenge when shaping — handling the dough, or forming the ring evenly?
