The browning on the meringue is beautifully done, with those peaks adding volume and character. The base is nicely baked maybe next time you could slightly lower the oven temperature so it doesn’t brown quite as much, but overall it looks great and gives it an irresistible homemade touch.

The balance in the tarts was just right. Living in the uk that was a bit of a fresh take on it for me . I want to mix it up a bit and try making a corned beef and potato pie using her pea pie recipe
