Making bagels 1st time. Blueberry cream cheese came out a bit thin, but did taste good.

Angela, it’s so exciting to see your first try at making bagels!
Thank you for sharing the whole process it’s great to see how you took the plunge and made them from scratch.

The blueberry cream cheese adds such a personal touch. Even if it turned out a bit runny, flavor is what really matters, and that’s already a big win!

Next time, if you’re aiming for a firmer texture in the cream cheese, you could try using a bit less fresh fruit or draining it well before mixing. Beating it a little less can also help keep it from getting too thin.
Are you thinking of trying them again with different flavors?
Keep cooking and sharing with that amazing energy! 💜

        • @undefined Hi Sussan, I’m thinking next time to make strawberry or raspberry flavored

@angieq327 Strawberry or raspberry sound delicious!
If you go with raspberry, you might want to strain out the seeds for a smoother texture though either way, I’m sure it’s going to be amazing.
I can’t wait to see how they turn out. Keep experimenting you’re doing a fantastic job!
