I tried for the first time making Ratatouille (but put cheese on top in the last minute).

That Ratatouille looks straight out of a movie! The color combination is super vibrant, and the melted cheese gives it an irresistible touch. How did the flavor balance turn out? It looks like one of those dishes that smells so good you just can’t wait for it to cool down. Amazing first try!

@undefined haha, the story is that I made Lasagne for a dinner party. One of my guests said she was on a strict diet now and wanted to bring her onw salad. I feld bad for her and when asking what she CAN eat so I would make food for her too, she told me I can make vegetables. Only vegetables. So I wanted to make it nice and elegant for her, and made this dish (tomato sauce, dried herbs, Oregano, Basil, olive oil, eggplants, carrots, zuccini, onion, bell pepper).
right before I put it in the oven she said she would also take some cheese on top, so we did that. I felt a little more full with the fatty cheesy element. Even though not the classic anymore.

Looks like Remy himself gave this a final touch! 🐭🧀 That golden cheese on top must have added a whole new layer of flavor—did it balance well with the veggies, or did it steal the show? Either way, your ratatouille looks absolutely delicious and full of character.
