Crunch Me If You Can – Chocolate & Peanut Butter Ice Cream Smash
#IceCreamChallenge
Profile: Amateur
Description:
Crunch Me If You Can is a bold no-churn ice cream that delivers intense flavor and texture in every bite. Made with whipped cream, cocoa powder, melted peanut butter, and sweetened condensed milk, this dessert is rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying. Served over a crunchy muesli base with chopped peanuts and chocolate chunks, finished with a chocolate-dipped cone and glossy chocolate drizzle—this is a true knockout treat.Techniques applied:
As an amateur without an ice cream machine, I used the no-churn method by whipping cream and folding it with sweetened condensed milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, melted peanut butter, and a pinch of salt. The mixture was poured into a container and frozen, stirring occasionally to reduce ice crystals and maintain a creamy texture. Plating emphasized layers of crunch and flavor.Ingredients & toppings used:
Heavy whipping cream; Sweetened condensed milk; Unsweetened cocoa powder; Melted peanut butter (crunchy); Pinch of salt; Crunchy muesli; Chopped peanuts and chocolate; Chocolate sauce; Chocolate-dipped cone with crushed peanuts
Most challenging part:
Incorporating cocoa powder evenly into the cream base and achieving that perfect balance between intense chocolate and nutty peanut butter, without an ice cream machine.Vanessa Macarro García, Maloles Muñoz y8 más-

What a treat to see you back in the #IceCreamChallenge with such a bold creation! Crunch Me If You Can is full of personality—from the name to the plating. You nailed a playful and indulgent presentation, with that upside-down cone adding height and movement. The contrast between the creamy ice cream and the crunchy toppings is instantly appealing, and the color balance is beautifully handled. I’m really impressed by how well you executed the no-churn technique, keeping the scoops so clean and well-formed. 👏
Did you have to tweak the quantities to hit that perfect balance between sweetness, cocoa, and peanut butter?
An absolute delight, Lana! 🍫🥜🍦1-

@undefined Thank you so much! 😊 I’m really happy you noticed the playful spirit behind “Crunch Me If You Can”. I had a lot of fun creating it! And yes, I did adjust the quantities a bit. I reduced the condensed milk slightly and used a touch more cocoa and peanut butter than the original ratio, just to get that deep, rich flavor without it being too sweet. So glad the no-churn scoops held their shape, it was definitely a freezer-timing dance! 😄🍦
And fun fact: this ice cream also happens to be one of my mother-in-law’s absolute favorites, so I think it has her seal of approval too!-

@lanamihajlovic I love reading this, Lana! It’s so clear you enjoyed the whole process, and that energy really comes through in the final result. Great call on adjusting the quantities you managed to strike a delicious balance without losing that rich, bold flavor. I can totally picture that little “freezer dance” to get everything looking perfect it was absolutely worth it! 😊
And I love that it also has your mother-in-law’s seal of approval. When something wins hearts at home, you know there’s a little magic in it.
Thank you for sharing those details it’s such a joy to see how much passion you put into it.🙌🏻1

Suena a delicia pura.

@undefined Hahaha, I absolutely love your interpretation! You see, I’ve always enjoyed looking at the world upside down! 😄 As a kid, I would stand in the middle of the street, bend over, stick my head between my legs, and watch the world from that flipped perspective. I even have photo evidence for those who doubt my lifelong commitment! 📸
So if a chocolate unicorn happened to melt on my plate, it’s probably just the natural outcome of my upside-down way of seeing things. I didn’t know about Bottura, but I really love his concept. Seems like we share a similar logic… if it looks like it fell, it’s probably art! 😁🍦🦄

Oh dear Lana! These photos are absolutely next level 😍 You’ve turned “Crunch Me If You Can” into a cinematic dessert scene—there’s action, drama, and delicious tension. You already got me from the tittle.
The textures leap off the plate, and the way you’ve framed that tilted cone is pure storytelling. That swirl of chocolate sauce, the crushed bits, the depth of field… everything’s working together like a flavor symphony 🎶🍫
What do you value most in a dessert presentation—precision or playfulness? This feels like a joyful mix of both!
If this masterpiece isn’t on your stories yet, it needs to be. Tag us @Scoolinary_en so we can cheer you on in public too! Congrats, dear!🎉

@Sol Damiani Oh Sol, trust you to catch every bit of drama on that plate 😂🍦Only you could spot cinematic tension in a cone on the verge of collapse 😂🎬
You know me… I can never resist a little chaos! That ice cream had the lead role and the cone clearly passed the audition for an action thriller! The cone didn’t fall… it posed.
Your message honestly made my day (and kind of made me feel like I was directing a Tarantino-style dessert scene). 😁
I love when things look like they just happened… even if I was hovering over the plate like it was a minefield for a solid 3 minutes and 24 seconds 😄 It’s summer… Ice cream in these temperatures requires speed.
I’m always trying to find that balance between a clean plate and a bit of playful chaos. Enough polish to say “I tried,” but enough crumbs to say “I had fun.”
Big hug 🤗 ❤️
