Tropical Kiss is a tropical no-churn ice cream that captures the essence of summer in every bite. Creamy coconut milk blends with sun-ripened pineapple purée and juicy pineapple chunks, a touch of honey, lemon juice, and a hint of rum, creating a naturally sweet, dairy-free treat. It’s served with a slice of caramelized grilled pineapple, lightly coconut flour, and a drizzle of honey infused with dark rum.Techniques applied:
As an amateur without an ice cream machine, I used the no-churn method, combining full-fat coconut milk and pineapple purée with chopped pineapple pieces, then freezing the mixture with occasional stirring to reduce ice crystals. I also used grilling for the pineapple to enhance its flavor and add texture.Ingredients & toppings used:
Full-fat coconut milk; Fresh pineapple purée and chunks; Honey; Lemon juice; Pinch of salt; Rum; Grilled pineapple; Coconut flour; Honey-rum drizzle

@Sussan Estela Olaya Dear Sussan, thank you so much for your beautiful message. It truly warmed my heart! I’ve missed this space and the inspiring energy of the community, so it feels wonderful to be back and welcomed so kindly.
I had to take a little break due to organizing a big event, and right after that I got sick. So I needed some time to recharge. But now I’m finally feeling like myself again, and what better way to return than with a tropical dessert full of joy!
Actually, this isn’t my first no-churn ice cream. I often play with flavors during summer, especially since store-bought ice creams haven’t quite worked for me lately. There’s something so satisfying about crafting your own combinations!
And funny enough, just tonight, after sharing ice cream with my neighbors, they decided to surprise me and get me an ice cream machine! 😄 Looks like my experiments are about to level up!

“Tropical Kiss” sounds like a cocktail, a vinyl cover, and a vacation all wrapped in one.
The photos are fresh and inviting—soft light, natural textures, and those perfect grill marks on the pineapple are gorgeous. The neutral plate lets the golden tones shine, and that little flower garnish is delicate, like a whispered lyric.

@Sol Damiani Sol, you always know how to make a scoop of ice cream feel like a full-blown music video 😄🍍🌺 I mean, “vinyl cover, cocktail, and vacation all in one”? That’s officially my favorite description ever!
To get into summer mode… this ice cream basically is my shortcut to summer. It has all the elements that take me there in a heartbeat… juicy fruit, creamy chill, a little grilled magic… and of course, music in the background to set the mood.
Put all that together and bam, I’m in full summer mode. Eyes closed, smile on, probably dancing around the kitchen with a spoon in one hand. 😄
And if I could serve this anywhere… without a doubt, I’d take it to Thassos (Greece), to the Marble Beach. That unreal white marble powder, turquoise sea, and a spoonful of “Tropical Kiss” to match. No table needed, just a towel and a view.
