Tiny in size, massive in flavor 🍒💚 Crafted Antonio Bachour’s pistachio cherry petits gâteaux — layers of nutty richness and vibrant fruit wrapped in a polished finish. A bite-sized symphony of texture, color, and precision.

So lovely to see these vibrant mini cakes! 🍒💚 The colors are stunning, and those layers look like a real flavor explosion. It’s amazing how you pulled off that fun pistachio twist with the bold cherry touch. Plus, that swirl of cream on top looks like it came straight out of a fantasy movie!
Thanks for sharing this creation and the result of Chef Bachour’s course with such dedication—I’m sure it was quite the challenge! Did you have a favorite technique that helped you get those super clean edges? ✨
Here’s a tip: if you want to get an even cleaner cut for desserts with juicy fillings like this, chilling the knife a bit before slicing can help everything stay perfectly in place without losing a drop of flavor.
You’re definitely leaving us craving a bite and inspired to try something like this! ✨

@sussan_scoolinaryteam Thank you so much for your kind words! I didn’t use any special technique, just followed the recipe closely. 😊
I really appreciate your tip about the knife! It’s always great to learn new tricks to get that perfect clean cut. I’ll definitely keep it in mind next time. Thanks for the suggestion and for inspiring me to keep pushing my pâtisserie skills! ✨

@soldamiani Thank you so much—your words honestly mean the world to me. I’m not professionally trained, but I’ve found so much joy and purpose through baking. It started with necessity: back in India, I never really cooked—either my mother took care of meals, or it was common to have a cook if you lived alone. But when I moved to New Zealand, everyone cooked! So I had to learn too.
In the beginning, it was mostly failure—burnt curries, undercooked lentils—but over time I learned that cooking (and later, baking) required patience and understanding technique. As I improved, I started sharing food with friends, and while not everyone connected with my savory cooking, I noticed one thing: everyone loved sweets. That simple joy of seeing people light up when they tried something I made—that’s what pulled me toward baking.
At first, my cakes were a mess too. But then I came across Anjalina Chugani’s class on Scoolinary. Her cooking style really resonated with me, and when I saw her spiced cake recipe, I decided to try again—despite past failures. That cake turned out beautifully, and the response from my friends gave me the confidence to keep going. I’ve been diving into Scoolinary content ever since—the clarity and structure of the lessons have helped me grow so much.
Right now, I’m exploring breads and documenting the process through videos on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. I’m trying to build a career that’s not just about food, but about sharing stories, culture, and purpose.
At the heart of it, my dream is simple: to continue learning, never charge for the food itself, and use baking as a way to inspire others to follow what they truly love—not just what society expects of them.
Thank you again for such kind encouragement. And if there’s ever a chance to collaborate or connect in any way, I’d be truly grateful 💚🍒-
