  • How much do I add the yeast?

In the video, he says to use fresh yeast, but in the recipe, the leavening agent is baking powder. I’m going to replace fresh yeast with dried yeast. I just need to know the amount of yeast needed please. Thank you.

    Hi Lydia.

It seems there’s a mix-up with the ingredients , it should be yeast, not baking powder. I’m forwarding your observation to the content team for review.

To answer your question, here’s the general rule for converting fresh yeast to dry yeast:

    Dry yeast = fresh yeast × 0.33

So if you’re using 13.3 g of fresh yeast:

    13.3 × 0.33 = approximately 4.4 g of dry yeast

Result: use 4.4 grams of dry yeast.

If you’re using instant (fast-acting) yeast, you can use a bit less around 4 g.

I hope this information is helpful! I’ll get back to you as soon as I hear from the content team.

    Best regards.

    Hi Lydia.

I reviewed the recipe again, and the recipe book has already been corrected.

Let me know if you can see the updates. If you have any other questions, I’m here and happy to help.

    Best regards.
