How long is a donut fresh? If I bake donuts on Monday, how should I store them to keep them fresh? In the open air or in the fridge?

Donuts have a shelf life of 24 hours.
Which does not mean that they cannot be consumed. After 24 hours they will lose a little of their freshness or the crunchiness that characterizes them. Remember that this is a bread-type dough and they are fried to cook, which is why their optimal durability is not for a long time.
