✨ Today I tried Feta Saganaki with sesame, drizzled with honey and I have to say, it was one of those dishes that completely disarm you with its simplicity and perfect contrast of flavors.

The crispy sesame-coated crust hides warm, creamy feta, while the honey on top brings that irresistible balance between savory and sweet.

The textures and balance are fascinating… every bite feels like a little gastronomic shock to the palate.

📌 Fun fact: the name saganaki comes from “sagani,” which means a small pan in which it’s traditionally prepared. While the classic version is just fried feta, this one with sesame and honey takes it to an entirely new level.

Honestly, I was left speechless. A true heaven for the palate and an inspiration for future creations. 🇬🇷

Do you have a dish that took you to heaven?

P.S. The owner of my favorite restaurant on the island of Thassos promised to give me the original recipe 🎉 This appetizer is definitely becoming part of my home menu 😁
