Tacos de Lechón – Mexican-Serbian Fusion

What I love about tacos is their endless freedom to reinvent flavors. This time, I turned a classic Serbian celebration dish (roast pork on a spit) into the star of my tacos. I chopped different parts of the pork and sautéed them with caramelized onions, then layered them with our local version of chicharrón for that perfect crunch.
I added diced tomatoes, avocado, and a bit of roasted pepper salad (a Serbian staple with oil, vinegar, and garlic). Finally, a generous drizzle of Salsa Cremosa de Chipotle tied everything together.
The most challenging part was finding the perfect balance between smoky Mexican notes and the rich, rustic Serbian flavors… and of course fighting to get as many tacos as possible before they disappeared! 🌮🔥

Qué preciosas fotos y qué receta fusión más deliciosa. Los tacos son una maravilla y, en efecto, me encanta que sean una especie de lienzo en blanco sobre los que podemos improvisar de muchas maneras.
Me puedo imaginar esa lucha, encarnizada, a vida o muerte, por el taco 🤣🤣🤣

Lana, your third entry in the #MexicanChallenge is a feast for the eyes and soul! 😍
The tortillas are perfectly toasted, and the generous layers of lechón, chicharrón, avocado, and roasted peppers look bold and joyful. That chipotle drizzle is pure magic.
